Texas State Technical College Harlingen Workforce Development Department oversees non-credit  special programs targeting workforce readiness and economic development. Workforce Development programs are funded through local, state, federal, or private sources. Such special programs strengthen and support the academic, career, and personal goals of students by facilitating research, hands on training, and support services that ultimately ensure participants are matriculated, retained, and graduated from college.
