Upward Bound

College Is Worth It! The More You Learn, The More You Earn!       

          

Upward Bound is a year-round program sponsored by a grant through the U.S. Department of Education. The focus is to identify and select eligible high school students who meet income guidelines or who are first generation college students. They are offered the opportunity to enhance their academic and social skills needed to succeed in post-secondary education.  

 

College students enrolled at TSTC Harlingen interested in seeking employment as a student worker with the TSTC Harlingen Upward Bound program can pick up an application for student worker employment in Building K, Room 103, extension 4502. Interested candidates must have a strong math and/ or science background to work with program participants.
