The University Center at Harlingen is now open! The University Center at Harlingen represents the collaboration between the City of Harlingen, Texas State Technical College Harlingen, and eight Texas universities. The 38,500 foot facility was funded by the Harlingen Economic Development Corporation and Texas State Technical College Harlingen in an unprecedented partnership forged to bring even more educational opportunities to Harlingen and the surrounding region. Currently, there are eight university partners offering a combined total of 26 bachelor's, 26 master's and 1 doctoral program in Harlingen.
