The Training Resource Center (TRC) is a state-of-the-art training facility for faculty and staff at Texas State Technical College Harlingen.  It is conveniently located in Room 103 at the Irma Rangel Science and Technology Building.  A wide variety of training programs are offered at the TRC designed to assist faculty and staff in acquiring or enhancing technical, interpersonal, instructional design and development, and/or teaching skills.

Training staff come from all divisions of the College, but primarily consist of the Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, Instructional Technology Specialist, and Human Resources Staff Development Officer.

In the TRC are sixteen computer stations equipped with Dell Optiplex 745 computers with the Microsoft Windows XP operating system and standard TSTC administrative software applications.  The instructor station includes a Data Projector, LogitechQuickCam, and Smartboard to facilitate the delivery of instruction.
