TexPREP Student Information

WHO CAN ATTEND?

  • Middle school and high school students who are high achieving and are interested in learning about science, technology, engineering and mathematics professions. Minorities and females are especially encouraged to apply.

WHEN DOES IT OCCUR?

  • June 11 - July 26, 2012
  • Monday - Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

WHERE?

  • All program functions, except for field trips, will be held in classrooms at the Texas State Technical College in Harlingen, Texas. 

COST?

  • Most schools or school districts provide funding for their student to participate; please see your school counselor for details. If a school or school district does not provide funding, the tuition is $300* per student to be due after the student is accepted into the program.
*Tuition may be subject to change for 2012, depending on contributed in-kind and financial support.
