TEACHER ASSISTANT

Interested in a career in education? Do you enjoy working with children or young adults? If so, the Teacher Assistant Program is the place for you. Teacher assistants provide instructional and clerical support for early childhood and public classroom teachers, allowing teachers more time for lesson planning and teaching. Teacher assistants tutor and assist children in learning class material providing students with individualized attention.

Teacher Assistant students can choose either a 49-Hour Certificate or a 69-Hour Associate Degree. The 69-Hour Associate Degree provides an opportunity for students to continue their education and obtain a Bachelor's Degree and become certified teachers.
