:: Staff Senate

The Texas State Technical College Harlingen Staff Senate is an advisory body to the President of the College and the College Administration, providing non-exempt and exempt employees a forum for dialogue between staff and College leadership. Staff Senate consists of elected staff members from each division to represent the entire staff body.

The responsibilities of Staff Senate are:

• To promote recognition of the staff contribution to the mission of the College and to involve the staff in decisions affecting their activities.
• To serve as advisory body to the College President.
• To promote a positive and meaningful interchange between faculty, staff and students.
