POLICY

It is the policy of Texas State Technical College Harlingen to maintain an accurate building inventory which specifies the building use, designated purpose, condition, and number of gross square feet.

PROCEDURE

The Vice President-Administrative Services will update all building inventory information annually and submit the report to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board by October 15 of each year.

The Vice President-Administrative Services will insure that the College Facilities Master Plan reflects the building use, purpose, condition, and gross square footage prior to approval by the Texas State Technical College Board of Regents every two years during the September Board of Regents meeting each even numbered year.

The Vice President-Administrative Services will insure that the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Master Plan Forms 1-4 are submitted on a timely manner in accordance with the established scheduled.

The Vice President-Administrative Services will perform a walk-through space inventory once each year to verify records.

The Vice President-Administrative Services should be notified for record purposes of any faculty or staff move.

Change in functional use of any campus space must receive prior approval by the Vice President-Administrative Services.
