COLLEGE DECISION Children of students, staff, or visitors are not allowed in classroom or laboratory areas of the College and unattended children, whether of students or non-students, are not allowed in hallways or other instructional areas. PERTINENT INFORMATION - Students’ rights to uninterrupted instruction preclude the distractions that minor children present to a classroom or laboratory environment.
- Liability for potential injuries to themselves or others caused by minor children precludes their presence in classrooms, laboratories, or hallways of instructional spaces.
- TSTC-Harlingen, nor its faculty and staff, can, nor should, be held responsible for the safety of non-students and/or minor children in instructional spaces.
- Present TSTC Policy restricts and prohibits activities and persons which/who present or pose a potential hazard, distraction, or liability to the College, its personnel, and/or its students.
