A Message from the Chief of Public Safety

Welcome to the Texas State Technical College Police Department. Each day this department strives to provide a safe and secure environment, through interaction with TSTC students, faculty, and staff.

This interaction begins with the initiative from this department's personnel, who want to provide a positive learning environment, through promoting life skill events and safety awareness programs. The department appreciates all of the support, encouragement and hard work that has and continues to be given by other TSTC employees.

Since it began, this department has seen growth in personnel, technology advancement, and student awareness programs. The TSTC Harlingen police officers will continue to view themselves not only as enforcers of the law, but also a vital part of the TSTC academic process and college life. The members of the department will continue to strive to meet this department's mission statement, vision and values.
