Who we are and what we do
Physical Plant is responsible for continuing maintenance and operation of college buildings, grounds and automotive equipment. We are also responsible for construction projects, building modifications, repair and renovation. We are a service-orientated department assigned to meet the day-to-day operational needs of the campus community
Physical Plant is made up of several departments:
- Engineering
- Building Maintenance
- Custodial Services
- Grounds Maintenance
- Vehicle Maintenance
:: Management Team
Martin Espinosa is the Director of Physical Plant. He has overall responsibility for facilities and utilities maintenance, management and services, transportation and vehicles, and cleaning services. Insures effectiveness of programs, efficiency of operations, productivity of the workforce, and wise use of resources. Represents Physical Plant interest with other departments and College committees. Department includes 52 staff members. |

Arnulfo Garcia is the supervisor of the Roads and Grounds Department. He plans and develops procedures relating to the overall operation, maintenance, and control of grounds maintenance activities. He reports directly to the Director of Physical Plant and he supervises 7 staff members. |

Joe Garcia is the Supervisor of Custodial Services. He reports directly to the Director of Physical Plant. He supervises 25 custodial staff, and through them, responsible for the overall cleanliness of all college buildings. |

Juan Lopez is the Supervisor of Building Maintenance and directly supervises the technical and skilled work centers engaged in the maintenance activities required on the structural and environmental systems of the campus. He reports directly to the Director of Physical Plant and supervises 12 staff members. |
