Pre-Tech Program - Allied Health

The Pre-Tech Program caters to students interested in the Dental Hygiene and Surgical Technology career fields. This program introduces them to real-world experiences in their respective career field by attending observations and tours of actual work environments in the local area.

How it works:

Surgical Technology - When you declare Surgical Technology as your degree plan, you're not "officially" in the program. You have to complete the pre-requisites and get ready to apply for entry into the program.  That's where we come in.  All you have to do is:

1) Meet with a Pre-Tech Advisor for orientation

2) Sign up for an observation/tour

3) Attend the observation/tour and be instantly gratified!

All the observations you attend will be logged in your file and viewed by Mr.Robert Sanchez (Surgical Technology Department Chair) when you apply for entrance. Please click here for the orientation packet (3 pages) detailing the above three points.
