Welcome Letter

Thank you for your interest in TSTC’s Associate Degree Nursing Preparatory Program.

Students in this program are able to take preparatory courses needed for nursing school. Through an agreement with the University of Texas Brownsville/Texas Southmost College Nursing School, students are able to take and transfer all the courses needed to pursue a nursing degree.

TSTC through its Biology Department has been a major contributor in preparing students with the solid academic foundation and study skills required to succeed in the clinical portion of the nursing program. The Faculty of the Biology Department serve as advisors for all students interested in a Nursing Career as well as other Allied Health Programs.

These academic courses include English, Mathematics, Sociology, Science and Psycology.
