The Department of Computer Networking and Security Technology (CNST) faculty and staff will:
1) Support and promote effective use and management of the instructional resources of the CNST Department.
2) Integrate available state-of-the-art educational technology for instructional delivery through the use of Team Leaders who will:
a) Maintain an up-to-date syllabus and course information sheet for assigned core courses.
b) Coordinate multiple sections with other faculty.
c) Provide instructional materials, examinations, presentations, etc. in a timely fashion.
3) Be accountable and responsive to our customers (students/parents), including:
a) Returning customer calls/emails within one working day of receipt.
b) Initiating resolution within one working day of initial call/email.
c) Resolving problem within one week of initiative.
d) Posting and forwarding feedback requests to immediate supervisor on all email correspondence and telephone messages.
4) Communicate effectively by:
a) Providing a web site that has:
i) Information regarding the Department
ii) Information regarding CNST(NIM) services and support
iii) Information regarding CNST(NIM) initiatives
iv) Information regarding student activities
b) Communicating such intentions via office and/or classroom posters and handouts.
5) Strive to achieve 80% student satisfaction in Instructional Delivery items on the yearly Student Satisfaction Survey.
6) Pursue professional development, as appropriate, and as outlined in Instructional Division guidelines.
7) Acquire up-to-date industry certifications as appropriate, and as outlined in individual Professional Growth Plans.
