WelcomeThank you for your interest in TSTC Nurse Assistant program. Students in TSTC’s NSA program participate in clinical experience at local hospitals, long-term care facilities, clinics and private physicians offices. After satisfying the eight months course requirements, students are awarded a certificate of completion. New students are accepted in the summer and fall semester. After successfully completing the TDHS requirements for State registry students are eligible to take the State Skills and written exam to become a Certified Nurse Assistant in the State of Texas. More details about the NSA program can obtained through the College Information Office, and you are welcome to visit our facilities by scheduling a tour. Department Chair Jean Lashbrook and program instructors work with students individually to plan a career path and course schedules.
