Welcome

Our faculty and facilities qualify for Festo Instructor Certification Process to teach Fluid Power Training Courses and as a training center for Mechatronics technicians. The official designation symbolizes the quality of education at TSTC Harlingen, which meets and surpasses professional standards.

Laboratory projects will povide you with experience in the use of electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, as well as electrical measurement devices. The class sizes are ideal for one-on-one instruction involving planning, assembly, programming, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures. The faculty brings its industry-based experience into the classrooms and laboratories to enhance your skills with communications and help you build a high degree of confidence.

As a student, you will assist with the design and construction of systems featuring robots, electrical motor controls, hydraulic and pneumatic controls, computer-based control systems based on Rockwell Automation Programmable Logic Controllers, the Parallax Basic Stamp and other microcontrollers. You could work toward a Certificate of Completion, an Associate of Applied Science degree or other training options.
