Central Receiving

The Central Receiving department is the College's shipping and receiving point.  All Purchases (capital and non-capital items) are received here and subsequently delivered to the appropriate department.  This section works with vendors, assists departments in receiving merchandise, and provides internal control.

 All purchases made by Texas State Technical College departments should be delivered directly to the Service Support Center building, Central Receiving section and no other location, unless arrangements are made in advance with Inventory Control Office.

Note: Central Receiving is open to the public from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for receiving freight.  All college deliveries are made in the afternoons Monday through Friday between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.; closed on approved state and federal holidays.
