Student Learning

The Texas State Technical College Harlingen Instructional Administration, faculty, and staff are dedicated to providing  top quality instruction in the classroom and laboratory accompanied by a wide array of instructional support services to facilitate student learning.

To those students who are undeclared technical majors and "just taking your basics," I encourage you to investigate our Associate of Applied Science degree and occupational certificate programs. With only a two-year investment of your time and effort, you can have a career in exciting fields, such as health science, computer systems, engineering, industrial, or manufacturing professions and find yourself out in the workplace as a productive wage earner in a very short time.

Were proud that we give our students large amounts of applied training in laboratory settings to help them learn and try out new technologies before they get out on the job.
