New Student Checklist

New students will need to complete the following requirements for admission:

• Step 1: Complete Application for Admission Online or PDF
• Step 2: Submit proof of Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination (all new students under age 30)
• Step 3: Submit Official Transcript (H.S./GED, College)
• Step 4: Provide THEA, Accuplacer or COMPASSscores
• Step 5: Apply for Financial Aid
• Step 6: Complete Housing Application (if applicable)
• Step 7: Request Accommodations for Students w/Disabilities (if applicable)
• Step 8: Attend New Student Orientation
• Step 9: Meet with Program Advisor
• Step 10: Register for Classes
• Step 11: Pay for Classes

All new students are assigned to an admissions advisor. The admissions advisor will assist students with the completion of the admissions process. If you do not know your admissions advisor, call 956/364-4117.
