| Telecommunications Course Policy |

| A telecommunications course (Distance Learning) is one offered principally through television or audio or computer transmission. This includes open broadcast, closed circuit, cable, microwave, satellite and audio or computer conferencing. It also includes courses delivered on video cassette or disc as long as the courses are also offered that year to students who physically attend the school. If a course does not qualify as a telecommunications course then it is considered a correspondence course.
A student can receive student financial aid funds for a telecommunications course if it is a part of a program that leads to a certificate for a program of one year or longer, or to an associate's, bachelor's, or graduate degree. |
