Services Provided by the Educational Technology Department

Individual Consulting Services

Ed Tech staff members are available for individual consulting services.  Often a quick phone call to an Ed Tech staff member meets the need.  Individualized one-on-one assistance is also available.  Most sessions are provided in the Training Resource Center (TRC), although we will go to faculty member's offices when it is warranted. 

Making the Grade Training and Installations

TSTC Harlingen provides faculty with the program “Making the Grade“ to assist them in tracking and calculating student grades.  Training, support, and installation assistance is available.

Datatel Training and Reporting Services

Through the Instructor Level Certification Program administered by the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL), new faculty are trained on accessing data and essential faculty processes in Colleague.

Training and support for faculty grade entry via WebAdvisor, a narrow web interface into the data stored in Colleague, is also provided at least once a semester.

Instructional Division personnel can contact Dru Duos for assistance with reports based on data that can be drawn from Colleague.
