Welcome

It’s difficult to find a career that draws you further into the cutting edge of computer technology than Digital Media Design Technology. You’ll creatively develop high-level skills in a wide range of media presentations for a variety of potential audiences.

Courses such as Graphic Design, Digital Painting and Imaging, Three-Dimensional Animation, Electronic Publishing, Digital Video, Web Page Design and Multi-user Operating Systems should prepare you to become a key player in the graphics industry. Many of the courses emphasize team projects using the most modern MacIntosh computers and PCs with production methods based upon those utilized by businesses. Design a multi-media, in-depth advertising campaign. Design and layout an actual newspaper. Produce a video or a virtual reality game. Create brochures or specialty publications.

You will master the latest techniques in manipulating sound, scanning, color correction, non-linear video editing and desktop publishing under the supervision of faculty that bring their business-world experience to the classroom. Our DMDT Program focuses on communication, training and problem-solving systems in laboratories built to offer realistic work environments.

The DMDT faculty welcomes questions about the program. We take time to provide tours for individuals and their families. We also could make arrangements for you to contact our graduates who successfully achieved employment in this career field. The College Information Office schedules campus-wide tours. I hope you’ll carefully study our DMDT program and consider how we could work together toward your career goals. Please contact me for more information or a tour.
