Mission Statement

It is the mission of the CSMT Department to provide quality instruction that will provide students the necessary knowledge and skills in the use of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining computer and computer-related equipment, that will prepare graduates for employment.  An advisory committee comprised of industry professionals assist in the enhancements to course curriculums and degree plans developed to provide the knowledge and "hands-on" instruction to simulate situations that improve critical problem solving skills.  Faculty support students' academic endeavor and success through advisement, tutoring and job placement.

Principles

Provide quality instruction on current and emerging diagnostic techniques and technologies as well as other critical skills in demand by industry.

To maintain knowledgeable and highly trained faculty and staff.

Customer feedback, Faculty Evaluations, and Advisement from Industry will be the foundation for improving quality of instruction.

The CSMT Department will respond, in a timely manner to customer inquiries.

Introduce the use of blended technology to course curriculum.
