Accuplacer (CPT)

Fee:  $30 ($10 per section)

Students who have not taken the THEA (TASP) test prior to enrollment will be required to take the Accuplacer Test during the admission process and prior to registration, or provide alternate test scores such as Compass and Asset.  * 30 day waiting period to retest for same portion of the exam

Ability to Benefit (ATB)         

Fee:  $6

ATB is administered to students wishing to enroll in the College, but have not completed their high school diploma or GED.  *After initial test, two-week waiting period to retest; further attempts require three-month waiting period

College Level Examination Program (CLEP) - Appointment Required                                                  

Fee:  $15+$70 (Credit Card Required)

CLEP is the most widely used credit-by-examination program today:  2,900 accredited colleges and universities grant credit for satisfactory scores on CLEP exams. CLEP credits will not be awarded for any courses in which a student is currently enrolled, has been previously enrolled, and/or earned a grade, or has previously failed.  *Six-month waiting period to retest  

 General Education Development (GED) - Appointment Required                   

Fee:  $95 ($15 Retest)

GED tests are a battery of five tests that, when passed, certify the taker has high school-level academic skills.  Only individuals who have not earned a high school diploma may take the GED tests. *Six-month waiting period to retest

  Health Occupations Basic Entrance Test (HOBET)

Fee:  $30

HOBET is an entrance test administered to students interested in enrolling in the Dental Hygiene and Surgical Technology programs.  *One-year waiting period to retest
