GED Registration Sessions: (Student Center, Room 138) Starting September 1, 2009 GED Registration will be held on Wednesday's only. Registration for the GED is offered on Wednesday's only, beginning promptly at the designated times. You will need to allow approximately 45 minutes to an hour to complete the registration. DO NOT BE LATE! If late, you will have to wait for next scheduled registration session. Must have receipt and a current government issued Picture ID: Driver's License, Passport, or State ID which states your complete name, date of birth, and current address. Registration Sessions begin immediately at 9:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. *Starting in May 2009 we will be offering registration online in the Student Center, Room 127, but only at 5:00 p.m. · February 3, 2009 · September 2, 2009 · March 3, 2009 · October 7, 2009 · April 7, 2009 · November 4, 2009 · May 5, 2009 · December- None · June 2, 2009 · July 7, 2009 · August 4, 2009 @ 5:00 p.m. only (must call in on Sept. 8 to reserve seat) Testing Sessions: (Student Center, Room 138) Testing for the GED is offered on Wednesdays only, with a complete battery of tests (all subject areas) being administered in one day; however, schedule is tentative and subject to change. Tests are given in the following order: Science, Social Studies, Reading, Math, and Writing. There is a brief 5-minute break in between tests ONLY. No other breaks are given during testing; leaving room after test has begun invalidates test scores. Testing sessions begin immediately at 8:00 a.m., 9:40 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:40 p.m. * Must show up by 7:45 a.m. · February 11, 2009 · August 12, 2009 (must call in on Sept. 8 to reserve seat) · March 11, 2009 · September 9, 2009 · April 15, 2009 · October 14, 2009 · May 13, 2009 · November 11, 2009 · June 10, 2009 · December- NO Testing · July 15, 2009 *Must present a Texas ID upon entering testing room.* HEP & Region One & Gulf Coast Trade Center Testing Dates are the Following:

December NO GED. If you are interested in taking free classes to study for your GED please call HEP or Region 1 to see if you qualify.
