Introduction to Spanish for Professionals

Feel the need to learn some Spanish to get along in today's world? Try this course where you will get the opportunity to practice the basics of the Spanish language in a low-stress environment.  This course will provide the practical vocabulary and phrases needed to communicate with non-English speaking clients and business personnel.  The course is progressive and student-friendly.  It introduces new language skills and how to use these skills in everyday situation.

Spanish I for Health Care Professionals

Course Code: SPNL 1002

The curriculum for this course gives specialized instruction for healthcare employees in developing practical communication skills with Spanish speaking patients and families.  Class will meet at Valley Baptist Health Systems Hospital in Harlingen, TX.  This course will be scheduled when there is sufficient response from the healthcare community.
