Introduction to Moodle (My Learning)
This course will introduce faculty members to the upgraded learning management system using the Moodle platform. The two hour training session will assist faculty to identify and create common applications within the LMS.

Intermediate Moodle (My Learning)
This presentation takes a closer and more detailed look at areas such as creating assignments, grading, uploading files, integrating SoftChalk and Camtasia into Moodle, creating discussions, and communicating with students.

Forums on Moodle
Wonder how you can get your students to fully participate in an online environment? Ever want to ensure all your students participate but never have enough time in class? Having an issue with participation in your class as a graded event and getting your students to participate?
During this training session, faculty will learn how to create, manage, and conduct forums (Discussion Forums/participation) in your online course. Discussion forums are excellent activities to stimulate students to participate in either a face-to-face, hybrid, or full online (DL) course.

Building Critical Thinking (CT) Assignments
Critical thinking is one of the most critical QEP initiatives for the college.

Introduction to Camtasia & Screen Cast Recording
Ever wonder how you can record a presentation and upload it to your distance learning course? Always wanted to record step by step directions on your computer screen? Record a lecture or review for a mid-term or final using audio files? Camtasia is a user friendly program that allows users to record screen movements, PowerPoint presentations, or audio files easily and to be able to upload them to the college's LMS.
Screencasts can be the perfect medium to explain difficult technical concepts to non-technical people. They can stimulate other learning styles and senses allowing students to learn by example, seeing every step in great detail.
This session introduces you to screencast recording and how to use Camtasia, an easy screencast recording program to record computer screens and PowerPoint presentations
