Approval Levels

Board of Regents' approval for budget changes are required for the following:

1. Transfer between appropriation or fund groups
2. Increase fund group budget greater than $250,000.
3. Facility Budget $500,000 or greater

Final approval is delegated to the Chancellor for changes resulting in any of the following:

1. Increase in the number of permanent budgeted positions
2. Facility Budget $250,000 or greater & less than $500,000.
3. Increase Fund Group Budget greater than $100,000 and less than or Equal to $250,000.

Final approval is delegated to the President for changes resulting in any of the following:

1. Change within appropriation or local funds
2. Increase Temporary Positions  
3. Rest/Desig Grants & Contracts
4. Budget reduction
5. Carry forward of funds from prior year
6. Facility Budget less than $250,000
7. Increase fund Group Budget less than or equal to $100,000
