The Business/Office Technology department at Texas State Technical College in Harlingen is your key to developing a career in any office position. As computers have become an important part of modern companies; the demand for competent, dependable office employees has grown.

We offer an Associates of Applied Science degree in Office Administration, as well as a Certificate of Completion as an Office Assistant. Obtaining either the degree or certificate from the program provides a good foundation for individuals who wish to continue their education and those who are aspiring to obtain higher paying jobs. Many individuals enroll in the BOT program not only to learn new skills, but also to upgrade their present knowledge and skills for advancement in their current occupations.
