After completing the program, graduates can find jobs as technicians at a dealership, as insurance appraisers or eventually as managers or shop owners.

Graduates also seek employment with independent body shop owners. After years of working under the supervision and guidance of trained technicians graduates also go into business for themselves.

Graduates of the department may earn between $13,500 - $16,640 per year in the Valley and $18,720 - $24,960 outside the Valley. After working about a year in the field, many technicians begin to work on a commission basis and can earn anywhere from $30,000 - $50,000 per year.
