Welcome to TSTC Harlingen's Agricultural Technology Department. We appreciate your interest in our program.

The enduring agricultural industry will always need skilled managers and workers in its many areas, such as farms, ranches, feed services and government agencies.  Responsibilities of farmers and ranchers range from caring for livestock, to operating machinery, to maintaining equipment and facilities. 

We pride ourselves on being a hands-on program that produces qualified technical workers for the agricultural industry. We are very fortunate to have state of the art machines and facilites to train our future agricultural employees. We have over 60 acres of land to train our students in the farming and ranching industries.

Texas State Technical College consists of more than time in the classroom. You will meet new friends who share your interests and aspirations.  Students are encouraged to get involved in student clubs, and organizations.  Your will also enjoy a variety of social activities such as movies, dances, parties and other special events.  Another aspect of you education is dorm life. You will meet other student from across the state and make life-long friends.
