The Accounts Receivable office is located in the Student Services Building, along North Loop 499 at the intersection of Oak Street.

Emergency Tuition Loan Information


  1. Student must apply first for Financial Aid at the Financial Aid Office.
  2. Must not be sponsored by Financial Aid, JTPA, TRC or any other agency.
  3. Must not be in default with TSTC or on scholastic probation.
  4. Must register for a minimum of 9 credit hours.
  5. The student must demonstrate a financial need.
  6. Emergency tuition loans are just for tuition and mandatory fees.
  7. This loan does not cover books, parking permits, insurance, dorms, nor meals.
  8. All loans become due approximately 30 days from the first class day.
  9. Students are required to notify the Student Accounting Dept. when withdrawing from TSTC.
  10. Withdrawing or dropping course does not void the obligation for repayment of the tuition loan or any other debt.
  11. Application must be turned in to the Business Office.

A student who fails to make full payment of tuition and fees, including any incidental fees, by the due date may be prohibited from registering for classes until full payment is made. A student who fails to make payment prior to the end of the semester may be denied credit for the work done that semester.
