TSTC Veterans Affairs (VA) - Montgomery G.I. Bill Selective Reserves (Chapter 1606)

This program is set up for those veterans that are currently enlisted in the Selective Reserves. Under this program, a veteran can receive monthly benefits if they enroll full-time, 3/4 time or time. If the veteran enrolls for less that time, then only tuition and fees are paid for.

In order to be considered for benefits, you must:

  1. Complete VA Form 22-1990 (Application for VA Educational Benefits).
  2. Provide a Certificate of Eligibility.
  3. Provide a copy of your DD214
  4. Provide DD-2384 -- Basic Eligibility (NOBE) This can be obtained by your unit commander.
  5. Provide Official Military Transcripts to Admissions & Records Office for evaluation.
  6. Provide Official Transcripts from all colleges attended to Admission & Records Office for evaluation.
