WHAT IS THE FACULTY SENATE?

The Faculty Senate represents the faculty of TSTC Harlingen. It provides a means for the faculty to work with Campus Administration in planning, decision-making and implementing of college goals and objectives through communication, collaboration and cooperation.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO BE A PART OF THE SENATE?

The Faculty Senate consists of elected faculty members from each division to represent the entire faculty body.

WHEN DOES THE SENATE MEET?

The Faculty Senate meets monthly. These meetings are open to all faculty, but voting privileges are extended only to the representative Senators.

FACULTY CONCERNS OR SUGGESTIONS

The following link is provided for faculty to voice any concerns and/or suggestions to the Faculty Senate. All submissions will be sent directly to the Faculty Senate President, who will address these matters with the Faculty Senate at the next scheduled meeting.
