STUDENT ELIGIBLITY

High school student in grades 11-12 (sudents may apply at end of 10th grade year)

Student should be enrolled in the Distinguished Achievement Program at their respective high school

Student must have serious interest in pursuing a career in engineering

Student must complete a TSTC application for admission

Student must meet TSI testing requirements (THEA, Accuplacer, ACT/SAT, etc)

Student must complete a DEEA application which includes writing a brief essay

Student must submit a resume listing high school awards, honors, participation in school organizations, clubs, community activities

Student must submit a letter of recommendation from their English, Math, Science instructors

Student and parent will be required to come in for a committee interview
