Transfer to TSTC!Students who take any amount of college coursework after high school graduation without enrolling at TSTC in the first fall, spring or summer semester following graduation are considered transfer students and must fulfill transfer admission requirements.
Transfer Student Requirements
For a student's application file to be considered complete, the following documents are required to be admitted to Texas State Technical College.
1. Apply TSTC

You may also complete the Application for Admission (PDF) form, print it and return by Mail, to the Admissions & Records Office at 1902 North Loop 499, Harlingen, TX 78550.
2. Official College/University Transcripts
Official transcripts from each post-secondary school you have attended may be sent directly from your previous/current institution or hand carried to Admissions and Records Office at TSTC.
Note: Official transcript(s) must be submitted at time of application.
Do I have to provide transcripts for all colleges or universities attended?
Yes, transfer students are not at liberty to disregard any part of their past collegiate record and cannot apply for admission on a partial college record or solely on the basis of a high school record. If previous registration information is falsified or knowingly suppressed, they may be subject to disciplinary action or dismissal.
3. Texas Success Initiative Exam or exemption
(TSI) approved test scores or proof of exemption for students who plan to enroll in college-level coursework. Test scores from approved TSI exams or TSI exemption will not be used as a basis for admission, but will be used to determine academic placement.

4. New Student Orientation
All students enrolling for the first time at TSTC, including transitory college transfer students coming to TSTC for a mini-summer session, are required to complete New Student Orientation, either online or live.
