What is Tech Prep? It is a statewide initiative. In the Lower Rio Grande Consortium, TSTC Harlingen has entered into articulation agreements with area high schools to enable high school students to enter TSTC Harlingen with college credits in a technical area. Who is it for? Entering college freshman. Why should I participate? Because you may be eligible to receive college credit. How do I get credit? You get credit by presenting your official high school transcript for evaluation to the Coordinator of Dual Enrollment. He is located in Bldg. "K" Rm #112.
