Faculty Resources

Before beginning development of a distance education course, this form must be completed and submitted to the Office of Distance Learning. Completetion of this form will allow them to create your course sandbox and alert them that course development is in process. Discuss the contents of this form with your Department Chair and the Academic Distance Education Department Chair so that appropriate mentoring resources can be identified and provided to you.

The following information concerns the General Education's Mentor2Mentor Program. If you are new to online course development and delivery, mentoring is available. Please contact the Academic Distance Education Department Chair for more information.

The Quality Assurance form is used by Department Chair and the Distance Learning Committee to review developed courses  being considered for approval by TSTC Harlingen. Online courses by TSTC faculty will only be offered once they have been reviewed and approved by the use of this rubric.

The following document is used to request that a course section be created. It is to be completed and submitted for each semester in which a course is to be offered.
